I believe love and light are two of the closest things we have to real magic. We're so fortunate that photography utilizes both. The rays of the sun, the glow of the moon, the flicker of a fire, the rainbows of a prism. Light and shadow shape everything I create. Years ago I read a quote by Taylor Swift that so perfectly describes the way I live my life: “I’m intimidated by the fear of being average.” I don’t do anything small and I’m not satisfied with my work unless I’m continually pushing myself to create something better than I did before. Art, storytelling, and connection have stood the test of time throughout human history. We were designed to create, make things, entertain, and love. These images are your legacy and I want you to have a wonderful story to leave behind.

Whether you're scheduling senior portraits, a family session, maternity photos, or just some updated individual shots, it's a big deal. This is a unique time in your life and I'm here to help you celebrate it with something tangible to go along with the memories. My goal is to create images you're excited to show off and honor with wall space in your home. I set out to make sure you feel like a work of art every single time. If you're looking for indoor portraits I have a gorgeous studio located in Ithaca, Michigan. If you're looking for on location portraits I'm happy to travel anywhere in Michigan (and potentially beyond) with you! A combination of the two is always welcome. I'm skilled in a variety of lighting and would love to talk with you about your ideas.

She is based in Alma, Michigan and serves Central Michigan and surrounding areas including West Michigan, Grand Rapids, Lansing, Traverse City, and Detroit.
