I always love having families back again. Alyssa's older sister was one of my very first weddings when I started my photography business so this was a special senior session for me. Alyssa signed on as one of my senior reps so we ended up doing two sessions total--one in the early summer and one in the fall. For our summer session we headed to Mount Pleasant to take advantage of the beautiful buildings downtown and being able to get into the river at Nelson Park. Mount Pleasant is one of my favorite local senior photo destinations because it offers such diversity in a fairly compact area. For fall we stayed even closer to home. We started in downtown St. Louis to get the rustic look of some of those buildings. Then we headed back to Alma to again pose downtown followed by some more nature spots. An open field and conservation park were our choices because both of those locations in the fall offer the most beautiful texture. We ended her senior photos at Alma High School's softball field. She wore her uniform, brought past uniforms to incorporate into the photoshoot, and we even did a fun shot hitting a ball full of powder!
