We're going all the way back to fall 2018 today for Ashley and Jonathon's gorgeous October wedding! Jonathon is my cousin so I was very excited when they told me they wanted me to capture their day. He and Ashley met while attending SVSU and our family had eagerly been awaiting for them to get engaged. I love shooting at Founder's Hall on Saginaw Valley's campus and Apple Mountain (which was their reception location) so that was a bonus! I knew it was going to be an amazing day right away between Ashley's gorgeous gown and the emotion they both showed while reading letters before their ceremony. If you're absolutely opposed to a first look then a first look no look is the way to go. You'd be surprised how emotional people get just knowing their soon to be spouse is right around the corner. This wedding was also special because it was the last one of my family's that our grandma attended before we lost her this past June so it's always going to hold extra special significance for all of us.
