I love this gorgeous family! I had the pleasure of photographing not one, but TWO of the girls’ weddings this past year! So it was only fitting that we did some family photos before the weddings too to get everyone comfortable in front of the camera. The nine of us met up at one of my favorite fields in Alma, Michigan and lucked out with an incredible sunset. These photos positively glow! When doing large family portraits like this, I think it’s important to break things up into smaller groups as well. I like to shoot the whole family, each separate couple, kids with each parent, etc. When there are littles involved I do individual portraits of each of them too! I’m definitely not a “just take a few” kind of photographer and want to capture the whole story and all the relationships of your family with a complete family session.
